Very nice owner. One feels very personally cared for. Breakfast is really good. The ferry isn't far.
The environment is rather rough.

Nice helpful hostess! Very centrally located and quiet at night. Very neat and clean everything... Great coffee...for England.
Actually, nothing was a problem. ...as a corpulent person, the only thing I had a problem with was the bathroom.

There was not the typical English breakfast, but scrambled eggs with toast. That was very much, so we had not asked further whether there is still something else, like sausage, cheese, fruit... The room was very clean, a small built-in bathroom, but at least it was for one person alone. Very friendly owners!
There are public parking spaces, but they are occupied by residents. We got lucky and got one right by the house. The owner then took care that we don't have to pay anything!

Very helpful owner. Made things easy with our late arrival especially useful with 2 young children. Indeed very easy to get to channel tunnel. Off street parking fairly reliable.

The room was really small for five people, but clean and the beds were comfortable.
The room should not be offered for five people. Four is enough

I booked a single room for two nights and loved the cozy vibe with a nice shower and clean facilities. The atmosphere was so relaxing, especially in the charming garden and the quiet lounge area. Just a heads up, the room was a bit snug, but for a short stay, it was perfect! 😊

The ideal stop before the ferry crossing the next day. Very nice operator. Already served us at 7:00 a.m. a very good breakfast so that we can leave in time.

The hotel was convenient for an overnight stop. It was great that as a family of 5 we could all stay in one room. The continental breakfast included in the price was excellent with good variety. (A cooked option was available at extra cost) The owner was very friendly. The location was within walking distance of eating places. The room was spotlessly clean.
More of an observation than a complaint - you have to be prepared to park your car on the street which was very busy, we were lucky to get a space. Also the extra bed for the fifth person was a bit uncomfortable.

The owner was very helpful and accomodating organising our breakfast the night before as we had to leave the hotel at 6am the next morning for the channel tunnel crossing.
